Anza sits in the middle of the Agadir surf coast: the city, the airport and the famous surf villages are all close. Here are the real road distances from our surf house, and why we think Anza is the perfect base.
LOCATION
WHY ANZA IS THE PERFECT BASE
Anza is a local fishing village on the coast just north of Agadir. Our surf house is a 4-minute walk from Anza beach, and from the house you are right between two worlds:
- Agadir city to the south: the airport, the bus stations, the port, the marina, the souk and the long city beach.
- The surf villages to the north: Banana Point, Devil’s Rock, Tamraght and Taghazout, all 10 min–15 min away by car.
That means short transfers every morning, more time in the water, and the choice of many spots depending on swell and wind, while you stay in a real Moroccan village rather than a busy tourist strip.

All distances are measured from our surf house (Bloc B5 N°12, Anza) using OpenStreetMap road routing. Drive times are without traffic: allow extra time in summer, on Fridays and at rush hour.
TRAVEL TIPS
HOW TO GET TO ANZA
- By plane: Agadir Al Massira Airport is the closest, about 32 km (35 min by car). Marrakech is a good alternative with more flights, about 3 h 10 away.
- By bus: CTM and Supratours buses arrive at Agadir’s bus station (Gare Routière), about 15 min from the house.
